Positive: The house and grounds are stunning and so well looked after. Built in 1914, the house is a marvel of the renovations and decorations of the owners and the property is at the end of a road, and bordered by a small river which makes it very private and quiet.
Summary: We were overwhelmed by the warm welcome of Gerald and Minke and their care of us.

Positive: I love Hazel House. It felt like home. Gerald and Minke were wonderful hosts. Minke’s breakfasts were amazing. The house is vintage and full of beautiful antiques. The gardens are lovely. It’s only a short distance to town. I highly recommend the Hazel House.
Negative: Nothing. My stay was perfect.

Positive: My grandma and Istayed here while she was down visiting, and we were blown away. This was easily the best place we stayed! Its like a step back in time in the best way possible.The breakfast/sitting area were so peaceful and comforting. The scenery outside the house is stunning. The couple is just lovely. And the food! Just awesome! Would recommend this little time capsule to anyone! P.s Felix will steal your heart❤️

Positive: Graciously received by the owner, Minke on arrival to this beautiful property. Located next to a beautiful river with gardens full of flowers. 110 year-old house is eclectic, magnificent, enticing, wanting you to stay longer.
Negative: There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Parking was safe and easy.

Positive: Our comfy room and sitting room, delicious hearty breakfasts, and naturally hospitable host made this a very pleasant stay.
Negative: I think the bathroom would have been shared if we hadn't been the only ones there at the time. My mistake in not noticing but that wouldn't have been preferred by us.
